About Bichitra Canvas Studio

“Creating art, chasing dreams, and painting life one stroke at a time.” That's the philosophy behind Bichitra Canvas Studio (বিচিত্রা ক্যানভাস) — a hand-painted fashion and gifting studio based in Uttara, Dhaka.

What began with a single hand-painted saree — our signature “Aparajita” piece, which sold the moment it was finished — has grown into a small studio dedicated to turning fabric into a canvas. Every saree, panjabi and two-piece set we make is individually hand-painted, which means no two pieces are ever quite the same. We also create customized gifts, including personalised name pens and handmade crochet rose bouquets.

Our Craft

Each garment starts as plain fabric and is transformed, brushstroke by brushstroke, into a wearable piece of art. Because everything is hand-painted to order, we ask for your patience — but the result is a piece made specifically for you.
